9 DAYS TAIWAN TABLE TENNIS TRAINING TRIP 2011

1	11 NOV 2011 (Friday)	- Depart SIN by SQ880 (0130/0615AM) - Upon arrival, go for breakfast - After breakfast, proceed to visit Ming Hu Junior School (明湖國小) - Introduction to the school, lesson observation and Friendly matches - Lunch near school - Afternoon: Visit to Jiufen (九份) - Dinner at Jiufen (Own expense) - Return to Taipei and check in to Hotel - Debrief and Reflection
2	12 NOV 2011 (Saturday)	- After breakfast, coach ride to Taichung - Visit to Earthquake Learning Centre, Paper Church - Go to Taichung night market for an early dinner (Own expense) - Proceed to Sun Moon Lake (日月潭)Hotel, check in and watch the Fireworks Festival performance - Debrief and reflection
3	13 NOV 2011 (Sunday)	- After breakfast, proceed to Puli Town (埔里) - Visit to Puli Wine Factory, recycled paper factory and Lavender Farm - Hands on DIY lunch at Lavender Farm - Dinner at local restaurant/night market (Own expense) - Return to Taipei and check into Taipei Hotel - Debrief and reflection
4	14 NOV 2011 (Monday)	- Breakfast - Full day Table Tennis training at local table tennis training school（国荣桌球馆） till 4pm - Visit to Taipei 101 (optional to go up the tower), Cheng Pin Book Store (誠品書店) - Dinner at local restaurant/night market (Own expense) - Debrief and reflection
5	15 NOV 2011 (Tuesday)	- Breakfast - Full day Table Tennis training at local table tennis training school （国荣桌球） till 4pm - Visit to Danshui (淡水) - Dinner at local restaurant/night market (Own expense) - Debrief and reflection
6	16 NOV 2011 (Wednesday)	- Breakfast - Visit to Yang Ming Shan (陽明山) - Lunch at Yang Ming Shan - Proceed to a local middle school for friendly matches（arranged by the local table tennis training school） - Visit to Ximending (西門町) and own dinner there (Own expense) - Debrief and reflection

8	18 NOV 2011 (FRIDAY)	- After breakfast, proceed to Yilan County School visit to Zhong Hua Middle School (宜兰中华中学) - Introduction to the school, lesson observation and - Friendly matches - Lunch in school canteen - Visit to Yilan Traditional Art Museum (宜兰传统艺术馆) - Dinner at local restaurant/night market (Own expense) - Return to Taipei Hotel - Debrief and reflection
9	19 NOV 2011 (SATURDAY)	- Breakfast - Visit to the National Museum (故宮)， Shilin Court（士林官邸） or the Loyalty Temple (忠烈祠) - Lunch Bento or local restaurant - Proceed to DIY Soap making workshop - Transfer to airport @ 330pm, back in SIN by SQ879 (1810/2235)

Reminder - Travel Vaccination

Pls be reminded that there will be a travel vaccination appointment tomorrow at Tan Tock Seng Hospital at 10.30am.

You are to report 15 mins before the appointment time for attendance taking and briefing.

Payment to be made in cash. For cost of individual jabs, pls refer to older posts here.

You are to report in your full school uniform.

Reminder - Trip Cost payment

Pls be reminded that the deadline for payment for the trip cost is this coming Monday, 31/10/11. So far, I still have 6 participants who have not made the payment.

Parents' Briefing Details

Here are the details for the upcoming parents' briefing again:

Date: 04/11/11 (Fri)

Time: 7pm - 9pm

Venue: AVA Room

So far, everyone's parent(s) will be coming. Attendance for student participants is compulsory, pls be in your full school uniform.

You will be required to make your payment for the Jersey and Track Suit on that day.

Confirmation of Jersey & Track Suit Order

For this trip, you will have to bring along 3 jerseys for the school visits.

Jersey #1: 2011 School Team player jersey

Jersey #2: "Aspire" Training Tee

Jersey #3: the butterfly jersey (set) you ordered today

Those without Jersey #1, I will try to order for u but need to check if there are still available stock.

Those without Jersey #2, as this was ordered from a commom T shirt printer (not specialising in Table Tennis jerseys), it is impossible to reprint and you can wear any other AMKSS Jersey or PE T shirt you have., alternatively, u can borrow it from those who are not going for the trip.

For Jersey #3, the confirmed design will be B1 (according to majority's choice), and the Track Suit will be C. The order has been placed and change of sizes is not possible.

As we are ordering from overseas and I do not want to risk missing the shipment to SG, I have all of them delivered to Taiwan (our Tour Leader's House), so you will receive the Jersey and Track Suit upon arrival at the airport.

You will be advised on what clothes to wear for which day during the parents' briefing. 

The cost of the Jersey #3 set is confirmed as $16. 

The cost of the track suit is pending because we are looking into doing the embroidery of your name and the school name in Taiwan, and we are yet to find out the cost of embroidery there. We will let you know the confirmed cost for track suit probably during the parents' briefing. Estimated cost of the track suit before embroidery is $25.

Order of Track Suit (Overseas Trip Specified)

We have two choices for the track suits here and both happened to be black. Please choose the design you like and fill in the order form.

Approx cost per suit is S$22-25. Material is silky to the feel.

However, if you really dislike both designs, you can leave comments under this post and we can get it in SG but it will be S$45-55 per suit. Whatever the case, you still have to fill up the form. 

For this suit, if we are getting what u see in the blog, we will be getting from overseas, and there will not be time for embroidery. You will probably receive it only at the airport or in school on 10/11. So alternatively, we may be wearing our school badge on the jacket instead. if we order locally, we may still be able to stitch our sch name and your name on the jacket.
